5-11-10 Still isolated!!!! Yes I am still voting. My problem is that I rarely get a ride to got out and go to the library so that I can vote. I still don't have a vehicle and I try to keep it positive and remain grateful to the Lord God and to those who have sacrificed their schedules to get me to the Library about once a month. While not having a vehicle creates a strain to my finances and various areas of my life, I am hopeful that I will be able to get a car soon. I am still voting for my friends, but I don't usually have the means (no home computer) and or opportunity to do so frequently and/ or daily like I would like to. Please be patient with me. My son and I will be isolated again and unable to get to a computer for Lord knows how long. I won't be able to cast votes for some time but will try to get a ride to the Library when ever possible to stay in touch and to cast votes for all on my mailing list. (He was molested in School.) I am presently unemployed partly because I have been homeschooling my son for the majority of the past 3 years. Since being out of work for so long, my son and I have experienced homelessness, and survived domestic violence to say the least. We need a car for so many reasons I don't know which to mention first, but I will list them as best as I can here: 1.So that we will no longer be isolated from the world; 2. So that I can take care of my son's educational needs; 3. So that I can find work; 4. So that I can take care of my son's emotional needs by getting him very much needed counseling; 5.So that I can do grocery shopping as needed as opposed to when ever I can get a ride if one is available. Without a vehicle it is nearly impossible for us to even do some grocery shopping at times. We are in desperate need of a car for more reasons than I can write here. We would be grateful for any help that we can get. If we receive a free charity car, I will be able to get my son back into a decent school, and I will be able to begin the process of getting my life back; by looking look for and securing gainful employment. I believe that for the reason's stated above, we should be included in the category of "most deserving candidate".
