I am permanently disabled. I have degenerative disc disease in my spine,carpel tunnel syndrome, tarsal tunnel syndrome (nerve damage in my feet), valgus deformities and arthritis in my knees making it impossible to work. On top of this I also have hypothyroidism and hypertension. Since I am unable to work, I volunteer whenever I am able. I read to children at a daycare center. I love helping others when I can, although most times pain gets in the way. I cannot walk long distances, stand or sit for long periods of time. I use a wheelchair/power wheelchair at grocery stores when available, otherwise I lean on a cart when my knees/back are hurting bad. A car is essential in getting to doctors appointments, grocery store and the laundromat. I am on a very fixed income being on Social Security. I appreciate your votes!!
