Receiving a car would be a great honor and would make my life easier as well. I am a single mother of two. I have overcome many obstacles in life. I have overcome abuse neglect in a marriage that took a great toll on me. Three years ago I almost lost my life. I had a subbrachnoid hemmorhage(bleeding on the brain) and came out of it with no major issues.I was in bed for six months then something snapped in me and I decided to go back to college to become not only a better mother but also a better woman to provide for myself and my sons.I have literally changed my life since being on my own with my two sons. I know I dealt with issues and overcame and they made me stronger as a woman,mother,sister and daughter. I have overcome so much in my 36 years that I have in my mind and heart that I will always stay on top of issues make sure my kids are always taken care of and I will always make sure I can do my best at whatever I decide to pursue.I want to be able to go back to college, go full time at my job as a licensed massage therapist, and I would be able to go forward in life. I would be able to get to where I would need to be without paying for a taxi, traveling for almost 1-2 hours on buses and trains or even walking up to four miles to get to work. When I or my sons need to get to the doctors,dentist, or even go shopping it would be easy to do.I would actually be able to take my sons out and have a family night. I have depended on family and friends for years now to get me from point a to b and it is starting to drain them. Basically all around I would be able to start my life once again,I would be able to volunteer like I have always wanted to do and I could feel independent.
