My name is Melanie, Members of my family suffered domestic violence and we have worked hard to overcome this. Our vehicles were vandalized and our hearts were broken. My daughter and son have 2 yrs of college left. My son is back home after spinal cord injuries and disc injuries from a car accident. His Insurance did not pay for his car, My family and I have always tried to help others. After Airbourne Toxic Mold Exposure, our lives changed. We are sick and still keep trying to change our lives for the better. I would love to have a vehicle to help my children finish college and hope for my husband to get a better job. We would love to be involved in church again and have a car for daily functions. We have always worked in our church and community, trying to Help teens and friends. My family is dear to me. Most dealerships don't like opening an attachment if they do not know where the email came from. Don't get discourage. It only takes ONE dealership to have an event in your area. So, here is what you can do: CALL the dealership and asked them who to speak with. They should give you a name. Email the FCC flyer directly to the person in charge of the FOUNDATION EVENTS AND CHARITIES (most big dealerships will have a foundation and charity). Most Managers and the foundation and charity events personnel are in meetings until about 10:00am. DO NOT contact managers on Saturday, dealerships are very busy on Saturday and just want to sell cars. If you get the secretary for the foundation and charity event planner, be sure to get the foundation and charity planners email address. Send a letter about FCC with YOUR user name included. FCC ask the dealership to tag FCC on their advertising. (The nicer cars that are donated as a result of that advertising are awarded to FCC’s members.) FCC holds Free Charity Cars giveaway events at dealerships that participate. If you do go into a dealership, take in the dealer flyer + a letter with YOUR user name on the letter. This way the dealer has your user name in writing and FCC will know who got the dealership to have the give-away. (NOTE: get to know the information on the dealer flyer for your own knowledge) Also, Brian said if there is a dealership that would like to have a giveaway event he WILL make sure there is a car at that event. Also, the more dealerships you talk to the better you get at doing the phone calls. I think this is well worth the work to get a beautiful car. Don’t you?
