UPDATE: 3/12/10 - I can't believe it...I got the call! All I know right now is that it's a 4 door Saturn. I was too excited to ask any more questions! I'm still in total shock. Getting around and accomplishing my daily tasks is a constant struggle. I am a single parent and have a 12 year old son that I have to raise alone. Unfortunately, I don't receive child support and do my best to make ends meet. In order to support my family, I work part time and take any extra hours I can get. My son has asthma and we are forced to wait for the bus in order to make it to his doctor appointments. This is very difficult because I have to schedule his appointments around the bus schedule and if anything goes wrong, we will miss the appointment. To add to that, if we miss the appointment, I am still forced to pay which is a waste of my money that I've worked so hard for. Not only do I struggle with raising my son, I also have a lot of responsibilities dealing with my mom. My mother has had a constant struggle with cancer for years. She had breast cancer and underwent a mastectomy. A few years later, she was again diagnosed with cancer, but this time it was 3rd stage ovarian cancer. Soon after, she was forced to have a hysterectomy in order to stop the cancer from spreading. To this day, she has had numerous medical issues that she deals with. Recently my car has broke down, and it is beyond difficult to get her to her appointments. Since I don't have any means for transportation, I have to push my mother in a wheelchair 5 blocks away to the hospital.
