He is saving me so I am going to save him by giving him my votes. His breathing gets worse by the day. We only need one car to get to the doctors for us both. Summer is here and walking in 100+ degrees is going to be hard. There seems to be no help in the Phoenix area. My husband treats me like a princess and he has helped me tremendously. We lost our house and our cars when I stopped working which made the decision to stop working even harder because I knew we would lose everything. But it was either keep the job and material things or completely lose myself. The decision was a no-brainer as I decided to try to save my life instead of my "Stuff". I had my thyroid removed in November 2008 as they thought it was cancerous, and thankfully it was not. However, since it was removed my metabolism is all over the place and making my depression and anxiety worse. I was also diagnosed with diabetes several years ago. I wake up every day wishing I didn't. Over the past several months my back, shoulders and knees have decided to hurt with stabbing pain. Have no idea why. My husband suffers from severe COPD and has been in the hospital numerous times within a two week period in June, is in remission from cancer, and has a prosthetic shoulder due to over 30 dislocations from his epileptic seizures. Since he can’t breathe, I must do the walking for groceries, which my back and knees don’t really appreciate, but we have to eat. We are in dire need of some basic, older transportation as we have no means to get to doctor appointments and blood tests. There is NO public transportation in my area and no one to call for rides. I have never asked for help for anything in my life and it pains me to be here. We run out of food before the end of the month and can't even get to the food bank without a car. That’s it in a nutshell. There has been so much throughout my life it is hard to remember it all and even harder to write it down and tell it to strangers.
