UPDATE~~~ Computer is still acting up, I am trying really hard to fix it but I am getting no where. I have a feeling we are just going to have to save up some money and buy a new one. As far as my health goes, I dont know if I told you but I had a lap band put in a year ago, it has been giving me alot of trouble so I am going to have to have surgery and have it taken out. I am not looking forward to that I hate having surgery. And my left ankle is swollen up the size of a basketball, they dont know why, and the only thing I know is that it is very painful! Please dont give up on me you guys I am really trying to fix this computer situation so that I can get back to voting. Thanks so much to all that have kept voting for me. I love you all! FCC is the bomb!!!~~~~~~~UPDATE~~~~~I am sorry I havent been voting. My computer is very old and has been acting up. I am trying to fix it. I will be voting again soon. My health is also getting worse. I may have to have surgery. I need to go to Indianapolis and see about that. I am trying to find a pain specialist and they are all in Indy. I hope I get a call soon because I have no way to get to Indy and my pain in getting unbearable I am getting to where I cant take it anymore. I know it may seem like I am not doing much to promote FCC but I am :) I am calling the mayor and everyone else in this city trying to get the word out about FCC. I have fibromyalgia, which equals chronic pain 24/7, I also have inflammatory arthritis throughout my whole body, from the tips of my toes to my head, which is also extremely painful. Not to mention the excrutiating back pain that I have. But still I desperately need a car, so badly I sit on this computer ALL THE TIME looking for friends trying to help them and myself out here. I love this charity and I love what its about and I love the people here that do faithfully vote back and help out. I appreciate Brian for all the work he does because I know his job can be rough. Thank you to everyone else.~~~~~~~~UPDATE~~~~~Well you all know my physical story and I thought it was about time that I told you my life story, the story that makes me the person that I am today. Well to start out I was raised by my father, who sexually abused me for years. You are probably asking where my mother was? Good question, I dont know the answer to that one. Well my dad was an alcoholic and like I said he sexually abused me, he also took me and my brother to bars with him when I was 4 and my brother was 6 and left us sitting in the car while he sat in the bar and drank all night. When he finally did come out he was so drunk he couldnt drive and he would pass out on the side of the road so there we would sit until the sun would come up and he would come to. It went like that for years. Finally when I was 14 and a half he quit drinking and things finally started looking good, then his health got bad. One year later at 9am I was laying in my bed watching tv and I heard a loud thump. I jumped up to see what it was and it was my dad. He had fell out of bed and he was laying on the floor having convulsions. I ran and called 911 but by the time they had gotten there he had already passed away. I had to watch my dad pass away before my very eyes, his heart had exploded. By then my mom was in the picture so I went to live with her. Six months after my dad had passed my stepdad kicked me out! I had no one to turn to. No where to go. I had nothing. I was only 16. I ended up staying here and staying there, just laying my head where ever I could. I ended up addicted to cocaine and acid, and I also ended up being an alcoholic just like my father. When I was 20 I ended up getting pregnant, mentally I was not ready for a child. Let me add though today he is my best friend and I wouldnt trade him for the world, he is 20 now and he is awesome. Anyway back then I was definately not ready, his fathers parents ended up helping me raise him and I thank God for them every day because I couldnt have done it without them. When I was 21 I tried to commit suicide by taking a bottle of pills. I was at my wits end then and I didnt know what else to do. Now mentally I am on track. I am a recovering addict, 15 years. I am a recovering alcoholic, 15 years. My only problem now is that my health is deteriorating daily. I cant stand for more than 10 minutes without having to sit right back down. I have about 7 different doctors that want to see me quite often. I have no way to get to the grocery store. I am in desperate need of a vehicle. God Bless FCC and all its members.~~~~~~~~~~~UPDATE to my UPDATE lol~~~~~I forgot to add that the doctor found out that I was anemic and have a vitamin D deficiancy so make that 17 different prescriptions a day! Crazy huh! I wanted to let you all now that if I sound like I ramble sometimes or repeat myself, there is a reason. Back in the early 2000s they tried to alleviate some of my mental illness by giving me electric shock therapy {yes they still do that} Well it didnt work. The only thing it did do is make me forgetful and scatterbrained.~~~~~ UPDATE~~~~7/19/10~~~~~Went to the doctor today, found out I have inflammation all over my body which makes my pain 100 times worse. He gave me yet another prescription to take daily {that makes 15 prescriptions daily well 16 if you count the one as needed for migraines). He gave me 2 shots for the pain and they burned like crazy. Well thats my update. So I am just keepin voting and doing what I can and praying that one day soon I will receive my phone call. FCC is the best and so are the people here. Thank you everyone for continuing to vote for us.~~~~~~~~~~I have beed disabled for years. I suffer from fibromyalgia, migraines, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, Biploar, thyroid problems, rheumetoid arthritis and chronic pain in my back. Not a minute in the day goes by that I am not in some kind of pain. I have at least 3 or 4 doctors appointments a week and I usually have a very rough time getting there and it is really starting to wear me down. Having a car donated to me would make my life so much better, and take such a stress off of me. Thank you. I also wanted to add that the man in the picture with me is my husband, well he isnt really my husband we have been together over 16 years so I just call him that, he is also disabled. He suffers from chronic pain throughout his whole body, and here lately he has been passing out alot and they have no clue what is causing that. He is suffering from schizophrenia. They just did a muscle biopsy on his leg and god only knows what that will bring. We both have several different doctors and see them several times a month. It is very hard on both of us our health is getting worse every day. I take 14 different pills a day and almost every time I go to the doctor they give me another one. Please give us your votes. We desperately need a car and I am so grateful that I found FCC and all of you wonderful people.
