My name is amanda I am a mother of two a boy 9 and a girl 5, and we have no car. Well it started when i went to the emergency room thinking i was having a heart attack, it turned out to be my gall bladder, well no insurance so it cost about 20,000 dollars, and the car i had broke down and it would have cost more to fix than it was worth, then easter my daughter was molested by my 13 year old nephew,and i had to get a lawyer to protect her cause i had no choice but call the police, and my kids grandmother turned her back on us when we did so now I have no one to borrow a car or get a ride from, so I can't take them to their appointments and its too far for them to walk,and the town I live in barley has any sidewalks and the bus stops are few and far from my house. I am trying to find work but Its hard because if i do find a job i have no way of getting there. Also on top of therapy my son has a problem with his feet needing so specially made inserts for his shoes and we can't get to the doctor because its too far for him to walk.
