UPDATED 11/23/09 - I am not good at this but i will give it my best shot!! I have a beautiful baby boy who is a year old in a few days! I live with my boyfriend who has 3 kids. Things are really rough & i don't think i have ever been so stressed out. It is 1 month away from Christmas and we are over 2 thousand dollars short on rent and if we don't come up with half in soon we have to look for a new place. I have applied everywhere i could think of and its so hard with out a car we are living off my boyfriends 200 dollar a week unemployment and its just not cutting it.We have no to way to go out and look for jobs. It is my sons 1st birthday in a few days & i feel horrible i can not do anything. I went to welfare today so i could get assistance and i got denied!! I am at a loss & i am not sure what to do anymore. I need ALL the help i can get. I want to do everything i can for my son & i want to be the best mom i can. I need to get on my feet and not have to live struggling everyday! please help! I do not like to feel like i am begging, or giving you a big sob story for you to pity me. But i feel this is the one time i need to reach out and ask for help. I do not have family i can call to help me I do not talk to my dad i do not really know him and my mother is sick herself and lives in upstate New York with her husband and my siblings. So my boyfriend and my son is all i have and i am grateful for it!! I just need some of this weight and stress taken off my shoulders and be able to relax and feel better about things and for right now i can not do that! but hopefully soon i will be able to do that and maybe be able to enjoy the holidays with my family. But until then i wish the best for everyone because i know what it feels like to be struggling and everyone someway somehow pulls threw so god bless everyone and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!.
