I joined the Marine Corps in Nov 01 and deployed to Iraq in Jan 03 to Oct 03. Then again in Feb 04 to Jul 04. Stateside I was stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC. I recived a Honorable discharge in Nov 05. Since then I have been put in jail for child abuse. Both my son and newborn daughter were put into foster care for 18 months. My wife and I faught tooth and nail to get them back. We got them back in Nov 07 and they have been with us ever since. I could not keep a job for more than three month at a time so in Sept 08 I turned to the VA for answers. They told me I have Post-tramatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and a mild Tramatic Brain Injury (TBI). Since than I have been in treatment atleast twice a week or more. I had a car but in Oct 09 it took a turn for the worse and I could not repair it. That is why I turned to Free Charity Car to see if I can get a car though them. I thank you for your time for reading my story. UPDATE 12-3-09 I will see everyone on the 12th in Orlando. I will be signed in and waiting for my name. I also look forward to meeting everyone and making friends. Even if I don't get car I will support everyone there! If I get a car I will beable to get back into treatment. I have not been to a VA appointment since I lost the car in OCT. Please VOTE if not for me than someone. Update 5-11-10 In Dec 09 I was incarcerated for a violation of probation. I was released the first week in Apr and have been spending time with my family. I am still in need of a vehicle to get back and forth to treatment at the VA. Please vote and hopefully I will get the call soon.
