I was in a auto accident 2005 and this accident left me disabled with severe nerve damage. I'm on ssi and no money for a auto. I have found in other peoples auto's that a suv has been the easiest for me to get in and out of.My friend has a chevy blazer and this is perfect for my condition.And to make matters worse, I got rear ended again on labor day of this year. making the existing nerve damage worse. Plus new injuries. It seems like a no win situation sometimes, but I keep going. I have ptsd from this last auto accident and am going for counseling. But counseling will help me to get my life back on the ptsd. I need an auto to go to dr's appts etc.. This is real important with the nerve damage getting worse. I have a hard time finding a way to my appts. So, therefore i have to miss alot of them. A car i have a hard time getting in and out of. A suv is the easiest auto I've found for driving and being some what comfortable in. These accidents have taken so much of my life away. To clean house i hurt, everything i do i hurt.Thanks to strangers I've never met until the accidents. So, i suffer everyday because of others that have caused me pain. It's hard to deal with. If it was inherited from my family, I think i could deal better than from strangers.The auto I was in was totaled. so,that has left me without anything to drive.Getting an auto from fcc,would be a blessing. Then I could go to my dr's appts as I should. I have 4 appts a week. And it's getting harder and harder to find a ride. I don't mean to sound bitter, It has mentally taken a toll on me becoming disabled from a auto accident.Update 12/21/09 haven't been to my dr's appts for almost 2 weeks now. No way to get there. I Truly need an auto bad..........I can't walk much with the nerve damage. Or I'd walk to places.Even a ride to the grocery store is getting hard to find.updated 2/11/10 when i'm awarded a car,i'd like to request automotive related help. thanks for the reading of my story.
