luvbugnmama1 will not be on fcc website for a few days. She is having a CRITICAL family crisis.Please say prayers for her. Thank you. My name is Bobbie and my story starts in September, 1993. My life changed,and physically and financially, will never be the same. My Mom was in a nursing home and my workplace was close by. September 9th, Mom died and was buried on my 38th birthday. Ten days later, my then husband, held me hostage for four hours, then shot me twice. Knowing that he was going to shoot me was the worst; I knew that I probably wouldn't live. I was in surgery for hours but I still lost my left kidney, spleen and part of my pancreas. This led to diabetes and since February of this year, I am now on an insulin pump. My immune system is gone and I get sick easily and quickly. Since then, I've had numerous surgeries and I'm no longer able to work. I live on less than $700 per month and I cannot afford to buy a vehicle. Public transportation does not go outside the city limits and I live in the county. I don't have any family or close friends. I desperately need a good reliable vehicle; I am missing too many doctor appointments. I need to get to the food pantry, post office, pharmacy and grocery store. I walked once to the pharmacy to get insulin for my insulin pump; it took me three hours to get there and back. When I got back home; I was in pain and just collapsed on the couch. I wont and cant do that again! I am a survivor and all this has left me with a strong will and a stronger mind. By accident, I found this website and joined up. I'm so GLAD that I did! I've made new friends and two have helped me immensely. Voting for all these people makes me feel good and helps me get through the day. So many are in need of help and have suffered through traumas and tragedies. Some are in worse places that others;I wish I could do more than send one vote a day. Unless I'm sick, I vote everyday. Please pray and vote for me and all these people here at FCC.
