My Story

I have been homeless since mid Oct. 2009. I left with a backpack and one bag in a hurry. I stayed at the Safe Haven Domestic Violence Shelter in Ft. Worth for 2 weeks and will be at the Arlington Life Shelter until shortly after my Tumor Biopsy on Jan. 29,2010. I have been working a few computer IT jobs for people at church and their friends but I am limited without a vehicle and no local bus service. I have a serious health problem (tumor)and a very bad back and I can not walk or get to a regular job. I really need a mini van as I may not be physically able to work more than odd jobs or part time for at least a few more months, and my 9 weeks at the shelter ends on Feb. 2, 2010. Even a motorcycle would be a great help. I am an IT Tec and I do have a website@ www.local-gringos.com I have lived in Belize and South East Mexico but I raised my children (now grown and married) in Anderson, South Carolina.
