9/9 update: I would just like to say thank you to E1 that has supported me here since I joined in January. I was given the opportunity to better my life here only to fail once again, I will be leaving the site in 3 weeks...I tried my best to get a second chance in life only to fail again, I'm not looking for pity or sympathy it's just reality here. I just want to thank E1 who has supported me here, I voted for my friends every single day and didn't use the blue list- remember you take on friends you should support them every single day without excuses, that's what a friendship means.. I just wish E1 the best and hope your dream comes true. Most of all I would like to thank Brian and FCC for at least giving me the opportunity to better my life.Also please DON'T BEG ME for transfers of votes I will transfer them to the ones I know who have made it an effort to support me on a daily basis---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------- 9/6 UPDATE:1st I WANT TO SAY MY TIME IS RUNNING OUT VERY QUICKLY HERE, my lease ends 10/10 and I'm not going to renew it because this is a truly HORRIBLE neighborhood... I have no idea where I'm going to live? it's been almost 8 months on here so if it happens shortly? fantastic if not? then at least I tried to make my life better, it just means it wasn't meant to be----- ---------------------------------------- This whole summer went by and I was stuck here not being able to go to the park with the dogs, the beach and most of all get a job I feel like I have been on house arrest since November of last year---------------------------------- I would just like to thank each and every one of you personally for your support, but most of all your true friendship.I have voted every single day for ALL my friends since I joined this site in January, even when the power was shut off I ran extension cords from neighbors to computer just so I can vote and support. I have donated through JUST GIVE.ORG to this charity, I have called dealerships, radio stations and TV stations, also the Mayor's office only to get the run around.I just don't know where else to promote anymore... --------------------------------- I EVEN LOST MY BEST FRIEND IN JANUARY because I had no vehicle to rush him to the 24 hour emergency Vet clinic an he died on my living room floor, now that feeling I never ever want to go through again, so helpless----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My story is: I once had a great job a decent home and decent vehicle... then in 99' I had major back surgery... I needed to have the L5 S1 disc reshaped because it was resting on my main nerve which was causing tremendous pain from the waste down... What was suppose to be a simple 1 1/2 hour surgery turned out to be 3 1/2 hours... I had completely blown my disc L5 S1 out and ended up in my groin... the Doc had to do exploratory surgery to find it but in the process he had to go through a lot of nerves to get it... Well to this day I have constant aches, some days better than others and have permanent numbness on the bottom of my left foot due to the surgery... In 2002 I had a legal battle with the mortgage company over what type of loan I had.. I re-financed at a 30 year fixed mortgage and they said I had a variable rate loan... well 2 years later and over 11 thousand dollars in lawyer fees I ended up losing it after 11 years, then to top it off I got laid off from Xerox 6 months later... Since then I have lost everything because of how the pay is nowadays...In November of 2009 my vehicle had finally died and couldn't be fixed anymore... then in January of this year I get laid off from my job again and have been on unemployment... the place I live in is horrible but at the moment it's my only choice... I have had my gas and electric shut off twice, had to get temporary assistance to help with rent because unemployment pays so little and things are expensive here in New York state... I'm very employable and have received many job offers but- I don't have reliable transportation to get a decent paying job...SINCE LIVING HERE THERE HAVE BEEN SEVERAL GUN SHOOTINGS, I HAVE BEEN MUGGED... I HAVE TO WALK EVERYWHERE TO GET COMMON THINGS DONE, LIKE THE GROCERY STORE, LAUNDRY MAT AND MISS DOCTORS APPOINTMENTS THAT I SHOULDN'T BE MISSING SINCE I HAD STAGE 1 TESTICULAR CANCER IN WHICH I HAD TO GO THROUGH RADIATION THERAPY SESSIONS... I HAVE BEATEN IT BUT I'M SUPPOSE TO DO ANNUAL VISITS TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS OK...ALL I'M HOPING FOR IS A CHANCE TO TURN THIS AWFUL MESS AROUND...------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I also was a dog obedience trainer for 10 years, then I got into a charity to help save Akita's... I had saved 43 Akita's in the years I had helped, some places where so horrible and others not so bad... but I enjoyed what I was doing not only to save an animal from bad situations, but to also help nurse them back to health, re-train and place them in much better homes... I hope to someday to resume this but it depends on a vehicle.
