I'm 20 and going to college to be a nurse. Luckily financial aid pays for almost everything because I can't afford it, my mom can't and my dad is just a cheap jerk. I also have a twin sister but she lives with my grandma. I don't get to see her very much because she goes to college in DC Right now I live with my mom in a little basement apartment because it's all we can afford. Our landlord is a jerk but we have no choice but to deal with him. We can just about afford bills but it's really rough. When I was younger my mom had a lot of problems and it put both of us in a bad situation. Since then she's really turned her life around but her bad decisions then still affect us now. Now I have a very old car (an '89 Cabriolet)that I love but it has so many problems. I commute 45 minutes a day to work plus I go to school at night so I'm worried the car won't last much longer and if I can't make it to work then I'll really have a problem It's been really hard to make ends meet because my mom basically lives off tips and I can't work 40 hours because I'm going to school so getting a car, even an old one would really be a god send.
