*** update---My children have helped me buy a car, that way I was & am able to keep my job. You all have been great to me and I will be giving my vote's to people that can use them more then I. Keep up the hope it will happen 1 day. *** Ok, this is total re-write of my story. I am a 47 year old father of 6 trying to make ends meet on one income. In threat of losing my job due to lack of transportation. Have been without a vehicle since July 2009. Was recently out on workmans comp. with a back injury, no surgey needed but now know that I have compressed discs snd arthritis in back. So will have to learn to live with the pain. Mother-in-law moved back in several months ago due to health problems and is on oxygen 24/7. Was supposed to go in for stents numbers 5 & 6 in November. Have had to postpone several times because of no way to get her there. She is scheduled again for this procedure this month. Hope I have enough for cab fare. We have exhausted rides from nieghbors and friends it is getting harder and harder just to get groceries. Hope something comes through soon.
