We have 5 children and do not fit into the car that we own. I had a 1999 dodge grand caravan that i was making payments to a lady for. I paid every month for 3 years and in that time she ripped me off repeatedly. I just kept paying it cause it was the only vechicle we had. After a while i got feed up and got a loan to pay off the remainder of the money owed on it,3200 dollars. I gave it to her (which by the way was a dumb idea) She said she would call me when the title came in and gave me a bill of sale. I took the bill of sale to the dmv and started the process of putting it in my name. Needless to say the title never came and i called the company that had the lein on it and and they said 1200 dollars was still owed on it and they would not release it till it is paid off, and i cant afford to pay any more for it. So now we have a van that cant be registered, which means it cant be driven,plus the transmission went out. So we went out and bought the explorer for 500. It doest run great but for now it works to get the kids to school and doctors appointments. We dont all fit, so that means multiple trips. And we cant take a vacation or even a family outing for the day. We would really love to have one of those big vans, that have all the seats. You see we live in a small town were you cant really take a bus anywhere, so my husband is always giving families rides to run errands. When we had our minivan we were able to take our kids and there friends( who parents dont have cars) to the lake and rollerskating or whatever else they wanted to do. But those days are long behind us. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and have a great day! UPDATE: 5-16-2010 Well the 1 car we had(the explorer)caught fire yesterday. We had all the kids stuffed in there as usual. My husband noticed the truck making a funny noise and having a hard time going so he pulled over and seen the flames. Luckily we were able to get the kids out of there carseat in time. So now were r without a car but i thank God we r all ok. Thanks for reading this and thank u for the Votes.
