Update: I just got a new job and I start next week, I have a great friend who is willing to take care of my son while i go to work, i am still on the bus line but hope that soon will change. Update: On thursday the 25th I will be going to an orientation with workforce connection, which will help me choose what classes i want to take and to see if i will get financal help to pay for school,please cross your fingers for me.....Update: My income tax was withheld and used to payoff some of my school loans from about two years ago. I was trying to use the money to catch up on bills, I guess it will be for the best that it was used for a chunk of my loan..... My story is, Im a single mother to a 5 month old beautiful baby boy named Evyn. He is the light in my life and I love him so much words cant describe. He is my heart with legs and arms. I am also a recovering addict and have been clean and sober since December 16th 2008! I had to start my life over because I lost everything to my addiction. I have turned my life around and it feels wonderful to get my life in order for myself and especially my son. I am without a car which makes it very difficult, having a car will allow me to do so many tasks i cant get done otherwise without a car. Many people do good with public transportation, which is a wonderful thing, but when you live too far away to even get to the bus stop, your out of luck. You wouldnt want to bring a 5 month out in the snow, so I just dont go. You would be surpised at how many things you cant do when you have a small child and no car. I have alot of goals that I will accomplish like, going to school for my career, and living on my own again, and providing a stable financal situation for myself. I am currently applying for financal help for school and I am so excited to start. A car is exactly what I need to get back and forth to school and also make it easier to pick up my son and be able to have more time for him while im in school. All these things take time and tons of effort and I am determined. I just need alittle help getting there. So please consider my story. Thanks :)
